David McIntyre and Loyd Loudy have been appointed as Executive Chef and Restaurant Director respectively of CUT at 45 Park Lane, opening in September 2011 at Dorchester Collection’s new London hotel. Both joined in January 2011.
With the opening of its ninth hotel, luxury hotel brand Dorchester Collection will open the first Wolfgang Puck restaurant in Europe, ‘CUT at 45 Park Lane’, a modern American steak restaurant featuring innovative cuisine in a contemporary and dynamic environment. From prime dry and wet aged beef to succulent pan-roasted lobster and sautéed and roasted whole fresh fish, the menu will provide wide appeal. A carefully crafted wine list will complement the menu with distinct international selections.
California born David McIntyre has been part of the Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group for more than 13 years and was closely involved with the creation and development of three of Puck’s most high-profile restaurant concepts; Spago, CUT and WP24. McIntyre joins directly from WP24 by Wolfgang Puck in Los Angeles where he was Executive Chef and oversaw the opening of the fine dining restaurant located in The Ritz Carlton, Los Angeles from January 2010.
French born Loyd Loudy joins from SupperClub restaurant limited in Notting Hill, where he was responsible for establishing the popular Dutch concept in London. Loudy’s previous restaurant successes include the launch of China Tang at The Dorchester, the OXO Tower Restaurant, Shoreditch House, Soho House’s reopening and other previous roles saw him heading up the team at D&D Sartoria and Hakkasan.

45 Park Lane will be Dorchester Collection’s ninth opening following the September 2010 launch of Coworth Park country house hotel and spa in Ascot, Berkshire. By the second half of 2011, Dorchester Collection will own and manage three luxury hotels in the United Kingdom; The Dorchester, Coworth Park and 45 Park Lane.

Dorchester Collection’s ninth hotel 45 Park Lane opened on 1st September 2011 with Wolfgang Puck’s first venture in Europe, CUT at 45 Park Lane. Throughout the intimate-sized hotel, luxurious and contemporary interiors by New York based designer, Thierry Despont, provide a club-like feel offering international guests a smart, central environment from which to enjoy London. Each of the spacious 45 rooms and suites offer views of Hyde Park, as will a spectacular Penthouse Suite with wrap around terrace offering panoramic views across London.
