Louise Goldin

Critically acclaimed designer Louise Goldin is pioneering a new era in knitwear, ambitiously refining and modernizing her craft. Her powerful silhouettes and body contouring defy traditional knitwear structures.
Goldin graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2001 with a BA Honours in fashion knitwear and was swiftly appointed head of design at one of Brazil’s most established fashion houses. In South America as Goldin honed her craft, she decided to return to the UK to complete an MA in knitwear at Central Saint Martins. She graduated with a Distinction.
She received orders from Selfridges after her debut collection was displayed at London Fashion Week in 2005 as part of the Central Saint Martin’s MA show. She is also the recipient of the British Fashion Award for Best Emerging Fashion Talent, Deutsche Bank’s Pyramid Award Scheme and Coutts & Co’s Fashion Forward scheme. Louise has collaborated with Swarovski, Topshop and Ballantyne, the Italian cashmere label and is currently consulting on knitwear for Versace.
