Private Dining at The Dorchester
Nestled in the heart of The Dorchester’s famous kitchens, executive chef Henry Brosi’s Chef’s Table, provides a hidden enclave for private parties offering 12 front row seats to the theatre of one of the most highly regarded culinary operations in London. A liquid crystal glass wall can be changed from frosted to clear at the flick of a switch.
This stylish private dining room seats up to 12 guests on deep-red leather chairs arranged around a specially commissioned glass table, a generous size conducive to a vibrant atmosphere while remaining small enough to be tucked away behind the scenes ‘back of house’.
The chef’s table pays homage to the heritage, elegance and subtlety that are a common thread of The Dorchester's ethos. The menus are personally prepared by executive chef Henry Brosi, who is on hand to discuss the philosophy and preparation of the meal.
Whether it be a three-course lunch or a ten-course tasting menu, chef Henry will select wines to match and introduce each menu with multisensory theatre such as demonstrating the effect smell has on taste.
In addition to private dining, Henry Brosi offers a calendar of culinary masterclasses at chef’s table at The Dorchester.

Reservations are recommended to be made at least two weeks in advance, and depend on the availability of The Dorchester’s executive chef, Henry Brosi.
Throw a private Kitchen Party at The Dorchester for up to 120 guests with a front-row perspective on one of the most highly regarded culinary operations in London. Canapés feature from the famous restaurants of The Dorchester and 45 Park Lane, while the office of executive chef Henry Brosi doubles as a DJ booth. Guests will be personally escorted through staff service doors to the “back of the house” arrayed in color schemes of the client’s choosing. Additional options – including personalized aprons for cooking challenges – can also be arranged. Menu highlights include: “sauté gourmand of lobster and truffled chicken quenelles from Alain Ducasse; a Peking Duck Station from China Tang; a sushi bar from Henry Brosi; Mini Waygu beef sliders on brioche buns with sweet pickles from CUT at 45 Park Lane…and more.
In addition to Chef's Table, The Dorchester also has additional private dining options within China Tang and contemporary French Alain Ducasse, which holds three Michelin stars.
The Penthouse and Pavilion
The Dorchester's Penthouse, designed by Oliver Messel, is a wonderful, luxurious private dining space overlooking Mayfair. With its open terrace and fountain, it is perfect for cocktails - followed by lunch or dinner in the grandeur of the adjoining Pavilion. It has its own kitchens, special menus and wine lists.
