A new blockbuster exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery showcases the works of seminal portrait photographer David Bailey.
This sweeping new retrospective includes 250 different works, which date to different points across the artist’s career and which were selected for inclusion by Bailey himself. One of the highlights of the exhibition is a new portrait of Kate Moss, which will be displayed publicly for the first time. Other works include portraits of musicians, artists, celebrities and other tastemakers; the show will also take an extensive look at Bailey’s travel photography, which consists of compelling photographs taken in India, Australia, Papua New Guinea and beyond.
