The Opening of Shakespeare’s Globe

23 April 2014 - 30 September 2014
From 23rd April, Shakespeare’s Globe will be open once again to the public for its new, 2014 season.

Throughout the season, which stretches until the autumn, the Globe will play host to a dozen plays in addition to special events. The 2014 season will be kicking off with Hamlet, a production that will appear here first before leaving to engage in a two-year, around-the-world tour that will take place in all 205 countries of the world. Other season highlights include classic Shakespearean plays (Much Ado About Nothing, Titus Andronicus), Shakespearean performances with a twist (All’s Well That Ends Well performed in Gujarati, A Midsummer Night’s Dream in British Sign Language) and several works by more contemporary playwrights.
