Beautiful Bluebells at Hatchlands Park

01 April 2014 - 31 May 2014
Welcome the long-awaited arrival of the spring season with a stroll around the bluebell-laden grounds at Hatchlands Park.

Every year, the ancient woodlands of Hatchlands Park burst open into a riot of blue, as thousands of bluebells blossom simultaneously. To commemorate the natural display, Hatchlands Park opens its grounds, which are accessible with regular cost of admission. One of the largest country estates in the Greater London area, Hatchlands Park sits on over 400 acres of beautiful land. After wandering amongst the bluebells, visitors can also explore the Georgian mansion, which was built in the 1750s for Admiral Edward Boscawen and which, rather strangely, houses the largest collection in Europe of famous composers’ keyboards.
