The new lobby – il Salotto - has just been inaugurated creating a brighter and refined ambience enriched by opulence. Immersed in a warm atmosphere, guests will be delighted by this new prestigious and spacious lobby: it is a perfect space to enjoy an aperitif, surrounded by rich furniture.  Precious fabrics, carpets, tables and armchairs are all designed exclusively for Hotel Principe di Savoia and are hand made by local artisans. To render the ambience more elegant, Thierry Despont places classic paintings, realised by famous painters, such as Luca Giordano, and splendid Murano glass chandelier, which enlighten the ambience, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The refurbishment of the lobby was orchestrated by Thierry Despont, who has acquired an outstanding reputation as a foremost residential designer with an élite clientele in both North America and Europe. The search of a balance between classic and innovative style is expressed in the entrance of the Hotel, where a breathtaking metallic net surrounds the wall leading directly to a theatre style entrance which is the gateway to an unforgettable experience.
