(Milan) – The 2013 Dorchester Collection Fashion Prize was launched today at Hotel Principe di Savoia with a high profile panel of judges from the world of fashion including Vivia Ferragamo, Guglielmo Miani, Fabia Di Drusco and Margherita Perico. Yesterday, the UK launch event was held at The Dorchester in London with the following judging panel: Daniella Helayel*, Caroline Issa, Stephen Jones, Nicholas Oakwell, Rupert Sanderson*, and Stephen Webster.

Augustin Teboul is the winner of the 2012 Dorchester Collection Fashion Prize. The award was bestowed to the designer last night at Dorchester Collection’s Hôtel Plaza Athénée, after a catwalk show featuring the five shortlisted designers of the prize. Annelie Augustin and Odély Teboul were presented with €30,000 from Dorchester Collection’s chief executive officer Christopher Cowdray, along with an engraved Baccarat crystal trophy and a stay at a Dorchester Collection property in either Paris or Milan during spring Fashion Week 2013.

October 2011 saw the UK release of Woody Allen’s latest romantic comedy Midnight in Paris, with several scenes shot at Dorchester Collection’s Le Meurice, including a key wine tasting episode which takes place in the hotel’s La Belle Etoile signature suite, with its 360 degree views across Paris. Le Meurice has also featured in a number of films including Luc Besson‘s Angel-A, and, most recently, scenes were shot at the hotel for Madonna’s directorial debut W.E. to be released in the UK in January 2012.

30 October 2011 - Dorchester Collection

Anndra Neen is the winner of the 2011 Dorchester Collection Fashion Prize.  The award was bestowed last night in The Rodeo Ballroom at The Beverly Hills Hotel, Dorchester Collection, after a spectacular runway presentation featuring models from cycle 18 of America’s Next Top Model. The event was filmed for an upcoming episode of America’s Next Top Model, which will air in spring 2012.
