With family roots in the Swartland dating back to 1757, the husband and wife duo are championing the regional wine scene with their thoughtful and sensitive approach to viticulture and winemaking.

Their dedication to nurturing and revitalising low-yielding old vineyards aims to rejuvenate the region's prized old vines and spotlight the unique qualities of the Swartland.

In leading the next generation of Swartland winemakers, David and Nadia are also pioneering new vineyards, focusing on their flagship grenache noir variety and chenin blanc.

Their core range comprises four exceptional wines, rooted in the decomposed granite soils of the Paardeberg to impart freshness and minerality: Aristargos 2023, exemplifying their focus on working with certified heritage vineyards; an exquisite Cape white blend; Elpidios, a grenache-based Mediterranean blend; and two single varietals, chenin blanc and grenache.
