The Barn - brasserie style dining in Ascot
Relaxed rustic dining is found a short stroll from the Mansion House, adjacent to the converted stables and cottages. Housed in the original barn frame, with rustic features such as a working stone fireplace, the restaurant has a full wall of windows with far-reaching views across Coworth Park’s polo fields.
The Barn offers a delicious brasserie-style menu with sharing plates served from an open kitchen. Monthly seasonal menus and blackboard specials are served in an informal and homely setting, where you’re welcome to keep your muddy boots on after long countryside walks.
On warm days, enjoy the lovely Berkshire weather and dine al fresco on the restaurant’s outdoor terrace, overlooking a small stone bridge that leads to the estate grounds.
The first floor bar and dining area provides an ideal place for private parties, an informal aperitif or post polo match refreshment. The bar can also be booked for exclusive use for five star corporate or family social events.
The interior features include refectory benches, wooden tables, blanket cushions, leather details and a welcoming fireplace. On the first floor, 40 antique copper saucepans create two light sculptures, and equestrian tackle and kit forms an artwork at the top of the stairs.
