The Original 45s exhibition is an homage to the initial artistic vision at 45 Park Lane. This show brings together the best of contemporary British art. This vision was, in part, pioneered by the late Roy Ackerman CBE and this exhibition is dedicated to him. Roy was immensely proud of the British focused art concept at the hotel. He was always of the belief that art, food, and hospitality go hand in hand. In his own words he was ‘not embarrassed to say that all the artists’ exhibited at 45 Park Lane ‘are friends of mine: in fact this gives me great pride.’
