A moment in history

When HM Queen Elizabeth II was crowned in 1953, The Dorchester’s decorations were said to be the best in London. Created by British artist and stage designer Oliver Messel, they included dramatic, theatrical draping across the hotel’s balconies – and we’ve reimagined this design for the modern day to celebrate the coronation of HM The King. Visit us to see The Dorchester’s exuberant display for yourself, as we mark another joyful moment in history.

The heart of everything

We like to call our hotel a ‘village’ because it feels like a lively, welcoming community, shaped by the dynamic spirit of London. You could spend a whole day here exploring our restaurants and bars, pausing only to sink into an armchair and take in the atmosphere.

Deliciously diverse

From the moment you pass through the lobby, the allure of The Promenade creates a glorious sense of arrival. Its new light and airy form is designed to invite you to explore the diverse culinary experiences that radiate out from this, the beating heart of the hotel.
