FAMOUS FACES

Local talents

Milan has long been home to countless famous designers, among them the late Achille Castiglioni and Gio Ponti. The Milanese-born talents were major names in the world of interior design, and their works can still be spotted around the city. Today you can admire Castiglioni’s unique exhibits at MOMA and see Ponti’s iconic Pirelli Tower, Milan’s first skyscraper.
PORTA NUOVA

A new face of Milan

Milan’s skyline has changed dramatically since 2015, and it’s all thanks to the Porta Nuova district. The eye-catching buildings were designed by architects including Cesar Pelli and Kohn Pederson Fox Associates, while the modern squares and streets invite visitors to uncover a new era of Milanese design.

DESIGNERS

Inspired by the city

As only fitting for a hotel in the design capital of the world, our suites are created by designers who share their love of Milan through every detail. For our Principe Suites, Francesca Basu took inspiration from the décor of Milan’s La Scala opera house, with rich fabrics and theatrical details. The results are spectacular.
