The Mansion House

From the moment you arrive, prepare to be enchanted by the grandeur of our elegant Mansion House. The façade changes with the light throughout the day, so it’s worth coming back at different times to capture the best photos. We also recommending walking through the hotel and taking pictures of the rear façade. Stand at the top of the steps with the hotel behind you and you’ll have a pretty impressive backdrop.

Wildflower meadow

If you’re visiting us between June and early September, a stroll through our vibrantly coloured wildflower meadow is an absolute must. Whether you want to be the star of show or photograph the beautiful flowers and butterflies, simply follow the paths and discover endless delightful locations for eye-catching images to fill you Instagram feed.

Sunken garden

From the rose garden, wander the short distance to the delights of the sunken garden, which was unearthed during our renovations. It’s a quiet spot so you can take your time finding the most interesting angles. Reflections on the water and artist shadows, cast by the soft, dappled light through the trees, add an extra dimension to your images.

Rose garden

Flower fans will also adore our fragrant rose garden, where you can explore avenues of blooms lined with heady lavender plumes. Use the Mansion House and grounds as your backdrop or opt for a photogenic close-up of an individual flower. This is a truly charming setting where great photography is made easy.

Afternoon tea

Our chefs take great pride in creating a wonderfully enticing afternoon tea here at Coworth Park. Take your place in the Drawing Room and let us present you with a glorious selection of exquisite delights, including seasonal pastries. We’ll set the table so everything is perfectly presented, and I’m sure you’ll agree that it’s just too good not to share online.

Breakfast in bed

When you stay the night at Coworth Park, it’s wonderful to wake up to a blissful break in your own room or suite to start your day in style. We love serving breakfast by the window to ensure your images benefit from the golden morning light. Don’t take too long styling your shot though, we wouldn’t want your breakfast to get cold.

Lakeside living

A walk to the outer edge of the estate rewards you with the discovery of our tranquil lake, which is home to our resident swan named Chukka, inspired by the polo fields he overlooks. This is an area of true serenity in which to enjoy a relaxed moment of calm and take a few scenic shots.

Meet the horses

We have plenty of friendly horses to visit at our equestrian centre. Grab your camera and snap a selfie with your favourite – you’ll find they aren’t camera shy. Alternatively, to capture the full beauty of our countryside setting, have someone else take your photo as you enjoy a ride around the grounds.
