Easter at Coworth Park

April 02, 2019

Spring has sprung at Coworth Park and our 240 acres of picturesque parkland are just waiting to be explored this Easter. Stay with us and discover our colourful array of spring blossom, go horse-riding, enjoy wine tasting and take part in our family Easter egg hunt. There’s so much to enjoy.

Wine tasting

To start the celebrations, join our head sommelier Alex Gilbert-Petz for a fun and informative wine tasting evening. Learn how to recognise and appreciate different wines, specific grape varieties and how certain wines complement certain dishes.

Chocolate connoisseur

Children will love the chance to indulge in the joys of chocolate with our head pastry chef Jonas Plangger. He’ll help them decorate their very own Easter egg with a selection of delicious decorations and they’ll be able to taste our homemade chocolate.

Take a tour

A leisurely stroll or cycle is a great way to explore our splendid grounds or you can choose one of our horses and go for a canter. Throughout the day on Easter Sunday, you’ll also get the chance to enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride around our estate. It’s an opportunity to sit back and relax and let us show you around, children can also make friends with our beautiful and very well-behaved ponies.

Birds of prey

As a special Easter Sunday event we’re putting on a falconry display. Come and watch the fascinating wildlife from our croquet lawn. If you’re feeling brave, you’ll also have the chance to let them perch on your arm for a really close up view of these incredible creatures.

Easter egg hunt

Families are invited to follow a series of fun clues and cryptic questions, leading you on a treasure hunt around our scenic estate. When you reach the end of the trail, each child will be rewarded with a delicious Easter egg.

At your leisure

Just a short wander to the spa and you have the chance to workout at the gym, take a dip in the pool or indulge with one of our many spa treatments. We also have plenty of board games at the mansion house to keep you entertained and there’s a separate kids’ club complete with games room.

Delicious dining

Dining is always special at Coworth Park but at Eastertime we have exceptional treats. Delectable pastries are plentiful with our Easter Champagne Afternoon Tea and from Adam Smith’s Best of British menu we recommend his signature chocolate tart as the ultimate must-try dish.

Join us for the Easter holidays to discover all this and more at Coworth Park.
