What do you love most about your hotel?
Location, location, location! We’re in such a beautiful setting – the glory of the grounds and the surrounding countryside is truly wonderful. You feel so close to nature here and you really get to appreciate the beauty of the changing seasons. This means no matter what time of year you visit, Coworth Park always looks amazing.

What’s your favourite local building?
That’s an easy one, it has to be Windsor Castle. It’s an incredibly beautiful building with a long and illustrious history. In fact, it’s the longest occupied palace in Europe. We’re also very proud of our royal neighbours being so nearby.
If you were to describe yourself in three words, what would they be?
I think I would have to say passionate, loyal and tenacious. I’m never one to give up!

What’s your ideal day off?
Family is hugely important to me, so when I’m not working I love spending time with my sisters, nieces and nephews. I always have a great time with them, whether it be in London or somewhere near the sea.
What do you recommend for first time visitors to Ascot?
Windsor Great Park is beautiful for a hike in rolling countryside and, when you’re there, I highly recommend visiting Virginia Water Lake with its famous cascading waterfall.

What kind of music do you like to listen to?
All of my team know that I’m a passionate Take That fan and so whenever we have a team party or celebration their ‘Never Forget’ song is always played. I go to all their concerts, along with by PA Meena and my sister. Recently, I also had the exciting opportunity to take my mother to meet Gary Barlow in person – something neither of us will forget.
Favourite thing to eat or drink at the hotel?
It would have to be the cocktail that was created for me and is known as ‘The Duchess of Coworth’, as that’s what my team call me. It’s a twist on a classic White Lady cocktail, combining my love of gin with fond memories of elderflower picking as a child. Do try it, I promise you it’s delicious!

What’s the most memorable event you’ve arranged for a guest?
Any event that has royalty on the guest list is always both challenging and interesting. Two such events immediately spring to mind. We’ve had the honour of hosting an event to celebrate 75 years of the Royal Windsor Horse Show, which included us having a 1940’s Spitfire parked on the forecourt. We also hosted one of HRH Prince Philip’s 90th birthday celebrations, with cocktails and dinner in the Lime Grove for his equestrian-loving family and friends.
What gets you out of bed in the morning?
The thought of coming to Coworth Park. No day is ever the same and my team and I thrive on the challenge of making every experience exceptional. Whether we’re hosting a private stay that someone has been really looking forward to for months, preparing for a glorious wedding in our grounds or offering a unique celebration in the restaurant, we always aim to exceed guests’ expectations and it’s such a thrill when we do.

What’s your top travel tip?
I tend to be last minute with my holiday planning but I have a real passion for Greek islands. I love to explore all the little unspoilt towns and villages. I try to visit a different un-commercialised island each time and my top tip is to go at the end of the season, once the kids have gone back to school.

An excellent hotel is one that sparkles with pride and passion ‒ that’s what we do here at Coworth Park.
