From the grandeur of our famous façade to the outstanding views from our rooftop restaurant, Hotel Eden’s style and elegance provides a beautiful backdrop for your photos. Discover some of our guests’ favourite Instagram-worthy settings.
Famous front door
The majestic entrance at Hotel Eden, where so many famous faces and prominent names have passed through our doors, is one of our Instagram highlights. The impeccably dressed doormen and the distinctive Art Nouveau canopy both make regular appearances on social media.
Façade at sunset
Our classic Roman exterior is a well-known symbol of the city. At sunset, the light makes the ochre hue even more vivid and trees from the surrounding historic villas cast wonderful shadows. Capturing this on camera is a game of patience but we promise it’s worth the wait. The special ‘golden hour’ light will really make your photos stand out from the crowd.
Il Giardino Bar
Your view from Il Giardino Bar rooftop surpasses all others Roman terraces, both public and private. Located at our 6th floor, this is the place to be. Treat yourself to one of our creative cocktails and relax in a scenic spot where the view is the undisputed star of the show. From the Vittoriano all the way to Villa Malta, snap amazing images to delight your followers.
Leafy backdrop
Inspired by the lush greenery of the nearby Villa Borghese, our leaf wall designed by Jouin Manku is fast gaining a great reputation as a cool backdrop amongst in-the-know Instagrammers. Over 500 carefully crafted metal and glass leaves make up the wall, providing an artistic alternative to the cityscape at Il Giardino Bar.
Beautiful bathrooms
The elegance of our bathrooms is something we get a lot of comments on, thanks to the exquisite sheen of the pearly marble, large mirrors, bold brass touches and Bisazza mosaics. Many guests believe that they are too good not to share with others online and we couldn’t agree more.
Breakfast is served
One of our guests’ favourite ways to start their day is by taking photos of their delicious breakfast at Hotel Eden. Our wonderfully talented team are experts at setting up a picture perfect breakfast table or feel free to style it your way. Fresh juices are great for adding a splash of colour and our freshly made pasties always get a great reaction.
Picturesque peacocks
Behind your bed you’ll find a picturesque peacock design. These eye-catching birds were often mentioned in ancient Roman mythology as a symbol of protection and renewal. We like to think this helps guests get a wonderful night’s sleep but they also capture people’s attention in photos.
Grand staircase
These stairs are tucked away but well worth discovering. Look down from a height to take a shot like this one or look above and discover a surprise feature on the ceiling that we think will inspire a few more photos.
Wall of fame
Look out for ‘The Stairs of the Stars’, located on the fifth and sixth floors. You’ll be amazed to see just some of the many celebrities who have visited us over the years. From Federico Fellini to Ingrid Bergman, you’ll find lots of familiar faces and with a selfie shot you can star alongside them!
Pose on your balcony
The suite balconies on the fifth floor are a popular place from which to admire the sun as it rises or sets over the Eternal City.
