Biking through Beverly Hills
What better way to see the tree-lined streets and rolling green lawns of Beverly Hills than riding one of our Linus banana leaf bikes? These iconic bikes are available for complimentary rental when you stay with us at The Beverly Hills Hotel. They offer a great cardio workout that’s guaranteed to boost those feel-good endorphins, as you discover the city at your own pace. We’ll also give you a handy map to help find out all that there is to enjoy.
Pause for a picnic
When you’re ready for a break from cycling, take time out to enjoy a delicious picnic lunch prepared by our skilled chefs. It’s the perfect excuse to unwind and soak up the beauty of your surroundings, especially if you choose a picturesque local park for your al fresco feast. Let us tempt you to one of our specialties, such as a healthy McCarthy Salad and a cool, freshly pressed juice.
Jogging for joy
If cycling isn’t for you, how about getting to know Beverly Hills on foot? Jogging can be an intense workout or done at a slower pace so you can partake in a spot of sightseeing as you go. Our jogging map provides easy-to-follow directions for a two-mile route, which will enable you to explore many of the city’s iconic landmarks, including the boutiques of Rodeo Drive and the spectacular homes of the stars. Simply ask our friendly expert concierge team for a local jogging map or any directions you need.
Walk to your coffee break
Another fabulous way to stay active is by going for a walk. Nothing’s more relaxing than strolling through the streets of Beverly Hills, basking in the sunshine. A short 20-minute walk from the hotel will take you to Alfred Coffee, a trendy little coffee shop that’s a great place to start your day with their popular breakfast burrito or drop by for a refreshing afternoon iced latte.
Peaceful park life
Another great place to walk or jog is around the Will Rogers Memorial Park. Located just across the street from the hotel, this spacious recreation ground opened in 1915 as the first municipal park in the city, known at the time as Sunset Park. Later, it was renamed in honour of entertainer Will Rogers, who was the first Honorary Mayor of Beverly Hills. Featuring grand fountains and lush palm trees, this is a wonderful place to relax or exercise in.
Head to the coast
California’s breath-taking coastline, and the beaches, cliffs and parks that line it, separates the vast tranquil expanse of the Pacific Ocean from the frenetic buzz of LA and Beverly Hills. For interesting ways to see outstanding ocean views and keep fit at the same time, we highly recommend a hike up Point Dume, surfing the breaks at Topanga or Rollerblading in Santa Monica. Whichever one you choose, you won’t be disappointed.
The Beverly Hills Hotel
For over a century, The Beverly Hills Hotel has been the spot for Hollywood’s brightest lights, the ultimate beacon of glamour. She greets you like a movie star from the moment you pass the iconic signage, step onto the signature red carpet and enter the grand lobby. Welcome to the legacy.
