Taste of Paris: the must-go-to food festival
May 05, 2022
France’s finest food festival
Taste of Paris brings together the cream of today’s gastronomic scene, allowing you to discover the finest restaurants, chefs, masterclasses, artisans and producers, all in one easily accessible event. Designed to delight, it’s a chance to enjoy both new and familiar dishes. From well-known names to the young talent of tomorrow, all of the chefs taking part are chosen for their exceptional talent.

Gastronomic experience
This year’s event is taking place at the Grand Palais Éphémère (May 12 – 15). The spacious 10,000m²/107,639ft² hall will be turned into a food lover’s paradise for an eventful four days. During this time, you’ll be able to taste, sample and indulge in a host of different foods, as well as join chef workshops and buy ingredients to try out at home. Think delicious caviar, smoked salmon, olive oil and fine wines. If you opt for privileged access to the festival, you can dine in the refined Diners’ Club ® VIP Lounge facing the Eiffel Tower.

Meet Amaury Bouhours
Our executive chef at Le Meurice will be sharing his own unique culinary experience at this year’s Taste of Paris. As an Alain Ducasse protégé and an accomplished chef in his own right, Amaury Bouhours is the perfect embodiment of young chefs showcasing the excellence of contemporary French cuisine in Paris today. Visit him and his team as they conjure up new dishes from our Restaurant Le Dalí menu right before your eyes.

“Taste of Paris is a wonderful source of inspiration and a great place for food lovers to gather together and try something new. Do come and join us, I promise you’re in for a treat.”
Amaury Bouhours Executive Chef Le Meurice

What’s on the menu
Amaury is particularly thrilled to be highlighting the diversity of dishes available at Restaurant Le Dalí. For this event, he’s moving away from the two Michelin-starred cuisine Le Meurice is best known for. The three stand out dishes he’ll be serving festival goers are a barely cooked sea bream, a white asparagus brulée, and a street food style marinated veal sandwich. Proof that this event offers something for everyone to enjoy.

Le Meurice
The original palace hotel in the heart of historic Paris, Le Meurice with its splendid newly-restored rooms and suites is the very epitome of quiet elegance and is alive with the artist's soul of wit and magic.
