Since its inception in 2006, Dorchester Collection has built a portfolio of truly legendary hotels, where our guests come to experience a certain way of life. As passionate hoteliers and experienced operators, we’re constantly seeking exciting new opportunities to add to our portfolio.
How we work
We’re selective, considered and utterly exclusive in our choices for any future hotel joining the collection. Our primary focus lies in a worldwide growth in key gateway cities and select resorts through hotel management contracts, with or without branded residential components. On an opportunistic basis, we consider acquiring existing iconic hotels in strategic locations.
We’re always on hand
Our senior management team works closely with hotel owners to make sure the whole process runs seamlessly.
We’re a family of hoteliers
Looking after our guests and hotel assets comes naturally to us. Our experience as owner-operators means we understand what it means to create lasting connections with guests.
We offer a unique opportunity
A chance to be part of the world’s most coveted collection of hotels, where people come to experience and connect with a certain way of life.
We feel passionate about the destinations our hotels are in; we respect their history, promote their identity and invest in their future.
Key development requirements
The most sought-after address of the destination. A legendary address, or potential to become legendary, making our guests dream.
The architecture has to be original and iconic, reflecting the essence of its location, accompanied by world-class bespoke interior design. No two Dorchester Collection Hotels are the same, so both contemporary or classic hotels will be considered if suitable for the destination and location.
While there is no set criteria, our ideal target size would be 120 – 250 keys, with a minimum of 25% suites and a minimum standard room size of 55 sqm for a new-build. Each hotel must have the potential to be recognised as legendary and bespoke by the local market with a bespoke mix of restaurants, bars, and other amenities befitting a Dorchester Collection branded hotel in its market.
Our bespoke approach with a keen eye for detail and our legendary hospitality makes us particularly well suited to branded residential development, where the most discerning people from all walks of life are seeking the best of two worlds.
