Join chef Fabio Ciervo for an exclusive cooking event
There’s something special happening this November at Hotel Eden, Rome. Award-winning executive chef Fabio Ciervo is inviting a limited number of guests to join him on an exclusive culinary journey – where they will discover the secrets behind his philosophy of healthy gastronomy.
Taking place on two dates: November 12 to November 16, 2017 and November 26 to November 30, 2017 – this exciting cooking programme is a real feast for all the senses (pun intended!) and is based on four nights’ stay for a limited group of eight people. It includes cooking classes, two dinners at the hotel and two outings in town, with guests even accompanying the chef to a local market to get Fabio’s tips for picking the best seasonal produce.
A taste of Eden is packed full of unforgettable culinary, gastronomic and sightseeing experiences that will delight and inspire guests to take the new skills and insights they learn back to their own kitchens.
The programme begins on Sunday evening, where a taste of Italian life begins with an aperitivo at Hotel Eden’s rooftop bar, followed by a three-course dinner at Il Giardino Ristorante & Bar. Guests will enjoy some of Fabio Ciervo’s most inventive Mediterranean dishes before finally meeting the talented chef the following day.
On Monday, they will be involved in creating the menu for the week and will source ingredients in town before returning to Fabio’s master kitchen, with its magnificent panoramic views of the Eternal City – where the culinary adventure begins.
During the course, guests will get the rare opportunity to prepare three signature dishes like spaghetti with pecorino and Madagascan wild black pepper flavoured with rose buds, as well as mastering the art of making delicious pizza. This unique programme concludes on Wednesday evening at La Terrazza – the award-winning rooftop restaurant – where the lucky group will celebrate all their delicious hard work with a three-course bespoke menu paired with fine wines chosen by our talented sommelier.
