Our invigorating blend of art and landmark architecture offers endless inspiration for creative camera angles. Join us as we explore some of our most Instagrammable spots for picture perfect shots.
Art Deco style
It was the creative genius of Thierry Despont, renowned architect and interior designer, who added our distinctive horizontal aluminium ‘fins’ that wrap around the hotel, giving it an aerodynamic look. At night, the exterior lights up and looks particularly photogenic. Situate yourself on the island in the middle of Park Lane in order to capture the entire building in one impressive picture.
Sunlit lobby
Bright colours and a host of artworks adorn our light and airy lobby. The abundance of natural daylight complements the space and adds another dimension to photos. We recommend waiting until mid-afternoon to capture that magical late ‘golden hour’ light and intriguing shadows.
Frame within a frame
Before you settle in for an evening of indulgence at CUT at 45 Park Lane, be wowed by our restaurant’s show-stopping entrance. Twinkling lights lead you all the way through the restaurant and provide a repeating pattern, whilst the dramatic draped curtains lend an artistic frame-within-a-frame effect. Wait until the sun has set to see the lights sparkle.
Relaxation awaits
Hidden in the heart of Mayfair, a world of relaxation and calm awaits you in our spa. The floral mosaic tiles surrounding the pool make for beautiful photos. Every angle offers the perfect Instagram moment, but shots taken from the far end allow you to see the mosaics up close, yet not detract from the appeal of the pool. The surrounding spotlights add a little extra artistic flair too.
Suite spot
As you enter your room or suite, look out for elegant Art Deco details. These will inspire detail shots to fill your Instagram feed. You can also try placing your suitcase at the end of the bed, perfectly in line with the framed photo above your bed, to showcase the grandeur of your location to your friends and followers.
Hyde Park on our doorstep
We’re fortunate to be located opposite Hyde Park, giving you wonderful views from our rooms and suites all year round. This photo is a great example of how the park’s greenery provides a picturesque backdrop to photos. In summer you get lush greenery and in autumn all the vibrant orange and golden hues the season is famous for.
Take to the bar
As you make your way to the top of the stairs for a tipple at BAR 45, turn around and admire the striking view leading towards the lobby. If you take a snap from this angle, you’ll be able to capture a superb sense perspective.
