La Cour Jardin
The inner courtyard, La Cour Jardin, is a haven of peace in a busy city. Surrounded on all sides by sweeping curtains of greenery this restaurant is a popular and beautiful summer place to be, serving seasonal dishes from May to September. Be sure to also experience it during the cosy, twinkling wonderland of winter.
La Cour Jardin is currently closed and will reopen spring 2021.

Feast on sunshine
Seasonal, light and exciting dishes to reflect the freshness of summer with a delicate balance of flavours. To finish, chief executive pastry chef Angelo Musa serves up the perfect finale with an array of sweet creations, including a seasonal selection of fruit pastries.
Mathieu Emeraud
Born in 1984 in Auvergne, Mathieu Emeraud began as an apprentice chef at the Hôtel Plaza Athénée in 2003. After two years spent within the hotel, he was hired as a chef de partie at the Hôtellerie de l’Abbaye de la Celle in Provence. Mathieu Emeraud then joined the Louis XV restaurant’s brigade in Monaco and the Gordon Ramsay’s brigade at the Trianon Palace in Versailles before returning to the Hôtel Plaza Athénée as the Cour Jardin sous-chef. At the reopening of the hotel in 2014 he was named chef by Alain Ducasse.

Angelo Musa
Executive pastry chef, Angelo Musa, is a winner of the World Pastry Chef award and 2007 winner of ‘Meilleur Ouvrier de France’. With long standing experience in both France and other countries, Angelo is able to add his own creative and distinctive stamp to our menus. His watch word is balance – ensuring flavours blend delicately with one another, textures create a variety of sensations on the palate, and always having a balance of sweet and sharp. He’s also a fan of giving classic patisserie a new twists. Sample our famous pastries and see for yourself.
