Linen

Your comfort remains our priority, and we invite you to join us in our efforts to protect the planet. By changing bed linens and towels every other day, we reduce water and energy consumption, minimising our carbon footprint. Together, we preserve the luxury of your stay while contributing to a more sustainable future.

Our mission

At the heart of our mission to create a sustainable future is a commitment to tackling climate change, conserving resources, reducing waste, and safeguarding biodiversity. Our journey toward carbon net-zero by 2050 is guided by comprehensive energy audits and ongoing climate risk assessments.

Wonderful fragrance, sustainably sourced

Dorchester Collection’s bespoke bathroom products, crafted by Wildsmith's understanding of science, nature and sustainability, reflect each destination’s essence with custom fragrances. By switching to refillable, hand-cast porcelain bottles, we prevent the use of over 723,000 single-use plastic bottles annually.

Biodiversity

Biodiversity sustains life, providing oxygen, food, water, and essential resources for medicine. As biodiversity faces threats, it also holds the power to combat climate change. In 2025, we aim to be an early adopter of the Taskforce on nature-related Financial Disclosure (TNFD) to assess, report and act on nature-related impacts, risks and opportunities.

Eco-luxury spa

The Spa at Coworth Park combines beauty and innovation with carbon-negative lime hemp walls, renewable energy, and a living roof of plants and herbs that naturally insulate and regulate temperature.

Beehives

Bees are vital for pollinating trees, flowers, and maintaining ecosystems. To protect the at-risk bee populations, Coworth Park now has beehives in the meadow to support biodiversity and conservation.

Single-use plastic

Our hotels are already transitioning away from single-use plastics. The Beverly Hills Hotel, for example, has replaced plastic straws with sustainable alternatives as part of this ongoing initiative.

Animal welfare

We partner with top suppliers focused on quality, animal welfare, and sustainability. We use 100% cage-free eggs and have adopted the Better Chicken Commitment, meeting all standards by 2026.

Food waste

Le Meurice collaborates with external partners such as Green Wishes, a specialist recycling company, and so far has twelve distinct waste streams within the hotel. It also partners with Moulinot, the first Parisian company to champion industrial composting specifically for the hospitality sector, with a vision of achieving a 100% French recycling programme.
