The eight Dubai views that we love the most

The Lana
Dubai is dazzlingly photogenic. Tall towers sparkle along the city’s skyline, crystal-clear waters lap against golden shores, and jewel-like lanterns glow from inside sand-hued souks. But where to go? From twinkling horizons to secret spots, here is our curated list of Dubai’s most picturesque places.
Burj Khalifa

Perfect for: capturing a Dubai spectacle.

The views from the observation deck of the world’s tallest building are, as you’d imagine, breathtaking. Watch city life buzz far below, then when you’re back on the ground, gaze skyward at the glass-covered façade glinting in the desert sun.

When night descends, the surrounding Burj Lake erupts with the Dubai Fountain – a luminous show that choreographs music and light to cascading jets of water, set against the city’s spectacular skyline.

High Society

Perfect for: poolside pictures.

High Society is The Lana’s rooftop lounge and quite possibly the most relaxing picturesque spot in the city. Dip into our aquamarine pool as Burj Khalifa shimmers in the background, or sip on something

summery as you admire the cityscape from a soft sun lounger. However you choose to take in the sights here, we recommend doing so slowly.

Dubai Creek Harbour

Perfect for: waterfront scenery.

Palm trees sway along a meandering footpath. Magnificent arching structures frame aesthetic rest spots. And The Viewing Point, a striking walkway that extends over the pristine water, presents panoramic views of the historic creek and Downtown Dubai in the distance.

The Lana Boat

Perfect for: serene sunset views.

When the natural beauty of the Arabian Gulf beckons, hop aboard The Lana’s private yacht and go where the mood takes you.

Out on the calm open water, Dubai’s spectacular skyline comes into full view – a rare sight that feels like it should be treasured. And as the sun slips below the horizon, the city glows with a warm, golden light that’s simply meant to be savoured.

Souk Madinat

Perfect for: architectural details.

Inspired by traditional Arabian souks with its winding streets, canvas canopies and carved stone, Souk Madinat is filled with little design details just waiting to be found.

Outside, classic Emirati wooden boats glide along turquoise canals as skyscrapers wink in the distance – a scene that seamlessly blends heritage with modern innovations, and one that is so distinctly Dubai.

Jara by Martín Berasategui

Perfect for: dinner with a view.

Stunning cityscapes meet picturesque dishes at Michelin-starred chef Martín Berasategui’s restaurant.

Jara’s spacious, sweeping terrace offers uninterrupted views of Downtown Dubai alongside aesthetically pleasing plates that taste as good as they look. Enjoy deliciously authentic Basque cuisine such as charcoal-grilled octopus and succulent wood-fired steak, set against a glittering backdrop.

Black Palace Beach

Perfect for: capturing tranquil moments.

Also known as the ‘secret beach’ due to its hidden entrance behind a row of palm trees, Black Palace Beach is a favourite for its long stretch of shell-strewn sand and shallow blue waters.

With the silhouette of Palm Jumeirah island at one end and Burj al Arab rising at the other, take a shoreline stroll between the two landmarks and experience that enchanting Dubai mix of city and beach.

The Marina Royal Suite

Perfect for: a private view of Dubai.

Step into The Lana’s sunlit suite and you’ll instantly see why this space has made our list.

From the doorway, an undisturbed sightline of brilliant blue skies and towering skyscrapers welcomes you in. Vast glass doors slide away to reveal an expansive terrace that overlooks the gently bobbing yachts in the Marasi Bay Marina below. And from the freestanding bathtub, you can watch the whole of Downtown Dubai sparkle while cocooned in soft, scented bubbles.

With wrap-around balconies, rooftop bars and lush garden terraces, experience some of the best views of Dubai right here at The Lana, our luxury hotel in Business Bay, Dubai.
