Greeting you on your arrival, our meadow is a memorable sight to behold – and it's filled with vibrant flowers in spring and summer. During winter months, see a blanket of snow cover the grounds, or wake up to crisp autumnal displays across the estate.

Embark on a journey through our grounds to discover Carol Peace’s beautiful sculptures. Together with our garden team, Carol has created a sculpture tour that takes in her evocative works alongside some of our estate's most beautiful views.

Having fresh ingredients literally on our doorstep gives us an abundance of freshly-picked, local ingredients for delicious seasonal dishes. Adam Smith loves that diners discover the beauty they witness on arrival recalled on their plate.
WILDLIFE
Nature at its finest
A walk to the outer edge of the estate rewards you with the discovery of a tranquil lake, home to our resident swan named Chukka. Explore the grounds further and discover the British wildlife that surrounds us including birds, fallow deer, hedgehogs and more.
RIDING & POLO
All things equestrian
Home to many friendly horses, our equestrian centre welcomes both beginners and seasoned riders. Take a leisurely hack around the grounds, head off for a canter or try your hand at dressage ─ the choice is yours. As the only UK hotel with two professional polo fields, we offer a unique opportunity to enjoy this quintessentially English sport. The fields are managed by the prestigious Guards Polo Club, with fixtures throughout the summer including major tournaments.
