British Cream Tea

Our new British cream tea brings a timeless afternoon tradition to The Gallery with warm scones, light finger sandwiches and a selection of freshly brewed teas.

Inspired by cream teas from the English coastal counties of Cornwall and Devon, our soft scones come with a generous serving of homemade strawberry jam and thick clotted cream.

Top your baked scone as the Cornish do with the sticky jam first, followed by a dollop of cream. Or perhaps you prefer the Devonshire way of allowing the cream to melt slightly before adding a spoonful of sweet jam.

However you choose to assemble your scone, we encourage you to do so at a leisurely pace alongside fragrant cups of tea and savoury sandwiches in The Gallery’s sunlit space.
