Great Women Photographers at 45 Park Lane

We’re celebrating Phaidon’s latest publication in its ‘Great Women’ series with a dedicated art exhibition throughout our hotel, in collaboration with Ackerman Studios.

The Great Women Photographers book celebrates the exceptional and groundbreaking work from over 250 pioneering female photographers across 200 years. From Anna Atkins, who created the first photobook, to the widely recognised and influential Cindy Sherman, each artist is presented alongside a beautifully reproduced image and a short piece of text from Phaidon’s expert collection of advisors.

For a limited time, we’ll be displaying a curated selection of the book’s photographs at BAR 45, alongside a series of limited-edition Artspace works on the ground floor from Phaidon’s other titles: Great Women Artists, Great Women Painters, and Great Women Sculptors.
