Paul R. Williams Suite
Designed by and named for the architect who created the hotel logo, this suite has a large patio for entertaining and a cool, 1950s vibe.
Style by design
The Paul R. Williams Suite is named after the hotel’s architect who built the Crescent Wing and redesigned the Polo Lounge and Fountain Coffee Room. When you book this retro suite, you’re staying in a slice of history, as the style has remained the same since it was built in 1948.
Architect to the stars
Did you know the famous hotel sign on the Crescent Wing was handwritten by Paul Williams himself? This legendary LA architect had a career spanning six decades and was known as the ‘Architect to the Stars’, as well as the first African American to win the Gold Medal from the Institute of Architects. This suite pays homage to his distinctive 1940s style.
A corner of paradise
Your suite is surrounded by twelve acres of tropical gardens and exotic flowers. Beyond this, the iconic LA palm trees stand tall against the brilliant blue sky. You’re in the centre of this famous city, but the view is fresh and green and the air crackles with possibility.
Bathrooms of lavish luxury
Our iconic bathrooms are elegant affairs with enough room to practice your Oscar speech in front of the double washbasin. Delight comes in the form of huge towels, a beautifully deep bathtub and separate shower. The warm, signature marble shines to perfection.
