Themed guided walks at the hotel and in the Royal Parks

Join our archivist, Christopher Astbury, on a 75-minute walking tour through the hotel, sharing stories and historical photographs along the way.

Make your choice from our menu of six guided walks: General Overview, the 1930s, World War II, Oliver Messel, the 1970s, James Bond. Each one starts in the lobby and takes you around the hotel.

Alternatively, as a City of Westminster Tour Guide, Christopher can also offer you a guided royal walk: King Charles III Coronation Walk – this leaves from the lobby and includes; Wellington Arch, Buckingham Palace, St James’ Palace and Westminster Abbey concluding with a ride back to the hotel in a London black cab. (Total duration: 2 hours)
