The art of perfume

Explore the power of fragrance at Palais de Tokyo’s new exhibition: Perfume, Sculpture of the Invisible.

Celebrating the creative and artistic imagination of pioneering perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, the exhibition invites you on a multi-sensory journey through Kurkdjian’s work.

From his first collaboration with artist Sophie Calle – who commissioned a scent inspired by money – to his immersive installation designed around the iconic Baccarat Rouge 540, discover how fragrance can shape the way we interact with art.

Enhanced through scented objects and olfactory experiences, the exhibition goes beyond the traditions of perfumery to reveal that scent is an artistic medium in its own right.
